Having sat for a while, I noticed that bees (yellowjackets) have taken up residence in my two side mirrors. I'd like to avoid 1) taking the mirrors apart or 2) spraying Wasp&Hornet Spray up into the mirror housing. Any suggestions? Or should I just use the spray and then try to flush the housing out with water? We're in Florida.
Best bet is to spray the mirrors then flush with water. We had africanized bees under dog house and had an exterminator come 2 times. On 3d I just used raid flying insect killer from up wind and they never knew what was happening. same here for you. Big thing will be once you get them under control is to get rid of any nests which could also be in the arms for the mirrors. Mirrors can be pried off exposing the internals of the covers. Just do so carefully
