Alternative to secondary pedestal table for View 24D's

In our 21D, the secondary pedestal table can be used at the sofa and between the rotated Sprinter seats. But that table is pretty small.

Before our last road trip, we purchased a 48"x24" folding REDCAMP table. We removed the pedestal and wood table top - and stored the folding table in the closet (it's smaller - 16"x24"x4" when folded).

When the table is set up - it provides more usable space when the table is set up. When we play a board game on the dinette table, we can use the extra table for additional table space.

And, the folding table is lighter.

If you're looking to increase table space in your D - here's a link to the table we purchased.

It’s the word “Link” that is the link.

Here is the standard URL for the link:

Thanks, it looks interesting. We are not crazy about our table either and have considered a round one. Ours sets up like your, either in front of the couch or between the cab chairs. We do have one of King Camp the folding bamboo tables from Amazon for outside and like it a lot although I bought a smaller one to fit the outside storage compartment https://www.amazon.com/KingCamp-Fold...NrPXRydWU&th=1

Another idea is a custom made lightweight table from LamiLight

We have a smaller Redcamp folding table with the mesh top (36"x24") which we use with our infrared grill. Both the grill and the folding table fit in the compartment under the kitchen window, and fit underneath the inverter on the right side of that compartment.

The larger table has a solid top - something we probably would not want to use for cooking - but will work great for extra dining space or for playing a board game. The tables provided in the D are both on the small side - and having an extra 4'x2' table will be useful - plus it's smaller and lighter than the extra post and table top...
