2017 Navion 24V macerator switch

First week out for this 2017V. I was surprised that I had to hold switch down to keep macerator running. Too much bending over!

Is this the way all are wired?

Anyone change out to a latching switch?

Thanks

2018 Navion 24V - yes, press and hold on gray tank waste pump when dumping. I've used it a couple of times, and only needed to hold it for less than a minute to empty the tank, but we don't generally create a lot of gray water.
Aren't the flip up external storage compartment doors a treat, since we're talking about excess bending over to get to things?
One thing I liked about our Sunstar was the vertical hinges on the external storage compartment doors. Made access a lot easier.

Yes those doors are a treat for sure. Wanted to make sure that was normal installation. I will look at changing it out when I put a transfer switch in ...another joy to get the power cord in and plugged to outlet in cold weather!

I've got an auto-transfer switch on my wish list, too. For now, I just use an extension 30A shore cord, between the PD EMS-30A and hard wired shore power cord. I can unplug the hard wired cord inside the electric bay, and plug it into the generator outlet, which works, but it's still a manual process.

Just put a surge protector and transfer switch in. What a joy! New batteries and monitor tomorrow sorry it’s sideways!

I installed a Carefree BT12 control module for the awning. The kit came with a new switch plate and switches. Took the OEM toggle switch for the awning and swapped it out for the momentary one for the grey water pump. Now if I could just get the BT!@ module to work correctly I'd be a happy camper.

Yes, the basement doors are a PITA.
