22M cracked slide bracket

I extended my slide out yesterday to lubricate it and also treat the slide out weatherstrips. I noticed one of the brackets that hold the geared arms was cracked. I had an appointment today at my dealer, and we are in agreement it was most likely over torqued when it was installed. It should have been replaced by the tech installing it, but for whatever reason, he sent it down the line as is. It’s still under warranty, but the dealer needs to get the OK from Winnebago to replace it.

Wow Ron - I will check mine too.
What is that old joke?
"Tighten it up till she strips, then back it off a quarter turn"
Is your bracket made of Aluminum or perhaps Ultem?
Thanks, Eagle5

Hahahahah Eagle, I have heard that term a few times. I’m not sure what the bracket is made of, but it looks more plastic like, if that makes sense. I did check the other 7, and they seem to be ok.
