So it's been a minute since you asked but I'll give it a shot. I've been researching this myself and turns out you can download the electrical diagrams from Winnebago and they show you right where the inverter is installed. In our model (I have the Minnie Winnie version of the 31G) it's mounted below the jackknife sofa. I haven't checked myself but perhaps some of the other connections you need to make are convenient to this area.
Did you end up installing anything? How'd it go?
I haven't installed the inverter but under the sofa would be the most logical place. I am curious about what I could screw up if I placed a 15a adapter on my 30a power cable and then plug into my 2200w inverter???
Confused here?
An inverter takes DC and makes AC, so one would not want to plug and inverter into AC as you already have the AC that the inverter would be trying to make!
Perhaps you meant a CONVERTER which takes AC in and makes DC?

I currently DO NOT have one!
