2017 Winnie 31G Suspension Upgrades

Can I add Sumo Springs on all 4 corners as well as Hellwig helper springs.
Does it make sense to add the Helper springs by Hellwig as well as the Sumo? Do they do the same thing in the rear?

Part Numbers:
Front Sumo: SSF-106-47
Rear Sumo: SSR-130-54
Hellwig Helper Springs : 9645 (for 11-leaf)

It's my understanding that If I add the Hellwig helper springs then I am unable to add the Sumo MAXIM (SSR-106-47-1) due to the brackets not fitting. I will need to use the traditional Sumo's (SSR-130-54) instead.

Any insight is appreciated.

You may want to contact SuperSprings and Hellwig to get their input.

Hellwig's response...

"Just put on our springs and sway bar and you will be done
Thank you"

Not really the kind of technical advice I was looking for.....

What specifically are you trying to accomplish? I have a 2018 31g. I replace the front and rear sway bars with Hellwig. With the airbags that came with I'm pretty happy with it.

I added SUMO Springs to my rear suspension and a Road Master Steering Stabilizer bar to my front end. Winnebago Vista 26P. They helped but I think that this type of problem should be taken care of when you purchase the RV from a dealer. After you drive away you find that you are white knuckled to the wheel is a safety problem and this should be taken care prior to the purchase. It really should be taken care of at the manufacturer and added to the price of the RV. This upsets me that we have to then pay to make our RV safe to drive.

4Gone, I have a 2019 31G and I am thinking of the Sway Bar upgrades. Are these the part numbers you used?

Hellwig 7718 Front Sway Bar
Hellwig 7180 Rear Sway Bar

Was there any issues with the Air Bags during the install and after? Are you still happy with the upgrade? I have been thinking about it since I bought the unit last March. I drive a Dodge 5500 with a 40' goose neck trailer every day and have driven a box truck now and then so I am used to driving bigger vehicles. My 31G drives what I consider OK with out towing and towing in perfect conditions. When I am towing my Wrangler and get any wind it has my attention. I have also learned to keep it under 65 mph for better handling. I have had the alignment checked and keep my tires at the proper inflation rate.

Thanks

Yes, those are the part numbers. And also yes, I am very happy with the upgrade whether towing or not it made a difference. I am happy with the modifications. No issue at all with the air bags. We have used the motorhome a couple of times locally with no car and we towed our Suzuki from Massachusetts to South Carolina and back in April and I thought it made a pretty big difference towing the car.
