2017 View black tank heating pad

Does anyone know the make and size of the heating pad on the black tank of the 2017 View motor home? Mine seems to be missing! Specs would be nice.

you should be able to view it as it is glued onto the bottom of the tank... if you don't see it you don't have one

I "use" to have one but apparently it was scrapped off at some point. Only wires remain. LOL

Your now lost heater strip is probably made by the same company that Winnebago used on our Fuse. They are UltraHeat tank heater strips, sold by Annod Industries. The size depends on size of your tank. You can find this info on their website: https://www.annodindustries.com/shop...k-heaters.html

Be sure to also use their recommended glue to fasten the strip to the tank.

Thanks Ed. I think I read that the heaters draw about 4.5 amps so that gives me an idea what size it should be. I wondered what kind of glue to use.

Ed I didn't find any recommended glue. They all say peel and stick now.

Yes, I saw that.....I don't think they had peel&stick available on the ones my 2018 Fuse 23A has.... but not sure. A few of my fellow Fuse owners have had those heat strips fall off on the road. Here is a list of glues that UltraHeat recommends for re-installing those strips -- https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxkodolp42..._1901.PNG?dl=0
