2012 or 2013 Profile View Which One?

We sold our Endeavor and are in search mode for a smaller diesel and have decided on the Profile View 24G.

I have found one of each 2013 from a dealer and a 2012 from a private seller. Both have the same options.

The 2013 is brand new factory fresh with 10 miles or less on it.

The 2012 is used just barely with less then 4000 miles, and only used twice, never been cooked in and smells like new. The owner says reason for selling is spouse is not happy camping and health reasons. I have been e-mailing him back a forth for a couple of weeks and I believe him. He knows we are looking at new.

Now as far as $$$$ go the private one is working out to be close to $10k cheaper and $3k less out of pocket and is 500 miles from us. The dealer is 2500 miles away and we need to fly there to pick it up.

To me the $$$ is a wash the monthly payment is going to be $40.00 less a month for the private one because the dealer got me a better interest rate.

Being we can not find any in our area to physically look at them. I am asking anyone who has one to tell me if it would be worth the extra effort and $10k to get the 2013 as opposed to the 2012? Warranties are not a concern.

We have looked at them but it in Oregon and that was last summer so we know they are small and it will be a adventure for sure to downsize.

Thanks for your time LeeB......

Why would you say warrenties are not a concern, you can get alot fixed in the first year with the Winnebago Warrenty.

I have been Motor Homing for over 20yrs and am quite handy, so should something go wrong I can fix it. Should it be major that is a different story but the Winnebago warranty is only 1 year and there are no dealers within a 100 miles from me.... Besides after you buy Dealers turn into Stealers.

The chassis warranty is a different story and I may buy a extended warranty for that......

Where did you get your stealers theory, I have bought two new Winnibago's since 2009 and have great support for dealers in many states

I thank you for your service to our country.

I was just trying to stop the warranty talk and get anyone with the units I have in question to give some input.
