Found these restaurant table tops online 2 for $40 free shipping.
With just the two of us a 24" round table gives necessary extra space and helps to simulate a slide out that is not there.
Will be re-designing the seats next to gain comfort when sitting with the computers or watching tv?
What have you done ? Share your dinette ideas. I wanted to put in recliners but the hot water heater is located under the aft seat near the window ???
Would have made more sense to put it on the other side where the sink and shower are and too late to move it now. Still a possibility to build some sort of comfortable cushion over it and add recliners for the legs and feet. Any ideas?
No pictures, as I don't currently have a dinette in my new (to me) 2012 Via 25Q and wondering if I'm going to miss it. It has a couch/pull out bed in a slideout and I'm wondering about the feasibility of converting to a u-shaped dinette similar to your photo. Going to wait and see how things go with the couch, but will keep watching for custom dinette stories and ideas. I don't suspect mine would be a $20 conversion.
table mounts available from surplus rv sales on ebay and table tops are available from webstaurant.com for about $50 for 2. Quite often you will find dinettes for sale because people replace them with couches, lounges, etc. like yours.
Thanks for posting....I have a 2011 25Q and am considering the same. It would be nice to have a dinette table with fold out or sideways leaf to extend the dining and laptop surface for our travels. Plus the convenience of having a permanent table surface and not the pole mounted thing we need to take down in order to pull the slide-out in.
I've got my thinking cap on....it will take a few months but would be nicer than a fold out couch with an inflatable mattress as a poor excuse for a spare bed in this model.

Agree 100%. Keep me posted on your ideas and plans and I'll do the same.
