06 Outlook rear slide fwd seal

Noticed on our first time out in heavy rain, moisture with the slide out. A little investigating found that 3-5” of the top fwd facing vertical seal is missing. Looks to me that it has been like that from manufacturer as it is a straight cut and it is flush on bottom of slide. Found a parts manual for the Outlook but hard to figure out which part it is. Seal is attached to body, not the slide. Thanks

Another option: With your WBGO S/N in hand, call Lichtsinn RV at 641-585-3213 and ask for parts. They are very accommodating and they really, really know WBGOs. There are probably cheaper places to get "stuff" but they are my "go to" place for fast service and OEM parts that fit.

Good luck with the fix, and safe travels.

Old post but finally made the effort to look into the seal. Easy to remove but it’s a Winnebago only item, according to the RV repair facility I talked to. They had never seen anything like it and he had a large selection of seal examples. Ended up cutting out the damaged area flush, moved the seal to the top of the slide, used the damaged piece on the bottom and applied a good silicone sealant to fill the gap. Time will tell if I am successful but looks good from my point of view. I called the only Winnebago dealer on Vancouver Island and sent s/n of the motor home but no call back.
