New to us 1991 Winnie!

Hello all, my wife and I just purchased a 1991 Winnebago Superchief 34RA. It is in good condition and we will be picking it up in December out in the Southwest and driving it back to Texas. It is well equipped including a 6500 Onan generator, Banks power intake and exhaust and Gear Vendors under/over drive mod. Any comments or suggestions/experience on this motorhome or these options is appreciated, it is our first motorhome after owing several fifth wheels. Our plan is to use it tailgating at college baseball games as we have one son playing in college and another working towards that goal. I'll post some pics in a bit, I also posted this in the Vintage section. Thanks and have a great day....

We had a successful trip, 1300 miles in about 21 hours of driving. Motorhome did good, runs very strong. We have a few issues to correct with it, the main thing is that the floor in a few spots feels a little "soft" but overall the motorhome is in great shape for its age. Very little rust or corrosion. I have to check the floor deal out, anyone have any comments or experience with this?

No experience with the soft floor issue but welcome to the motor home world. We began with a 1984 Class C to see if we liked it. We got to learn a lot with an inexpensive investment and have since purchased 3 Class A's and love it.

You will no doubt find many who can help you with your floor issues. This is the greatest forum I've found. Very knowledgeable folks who are willing to help you out. Don't forget to post some pictures. It's always nice to show off whatcha got.
