First time to fill the water tank

Just got my Travato 59GL couple of days ago. When I fill the water tank, water flows under the RV per manual the tank should be full. But the ONEPLACE tank level indicates that fresh water tank is empty (E). Could somebody helps me? Thanks!

Congratulations and good luck with your new new Travato! Start with the easy stuff first. There is usually a valve that you can open to drain your tank when you sanitize it or winterize it. Look for that valve or instructions in your manual to see if it got left open.

The harder stuff is that the tank might really be full and water is flowing out the overfill and your Oneplace indicator is not working. Or you have a broken hose/connection/fitting that is leaking.

You've kind of skipped some vital info when you left off what year you have but a quick check of the prats catalog here might be a good place to look for info on your water question as Winnebago has done a great job on some Rv by posting a really full blown parts setup where we can do a "superman" type look at things and zoom or turn things over, specify what system we want to see and really drill down to the fine points.

I chose one year at random and it might/might not be the same as what you have but two things do jump out and it might help you sort the question as there are two items which appear to drain from each end of the tank as well as a large 1 1/4 inch drain on the bottom.

So IF this were your year and you find water going out the sides, one might guess it is overflow but if it is simply gushing out the bottom the tank drain might be open?

There are 3 tank level sensors adhered to the sides of the fresh water tank (1/3 - 2/3 - full) that are wired together with a wire to a 2 pin connector. There is a cable with a two wire mating connector that comes off the wiring harness that should be plugged into the connector that is coming off the sensors, it may be that did not get plugged in when yours was built. That's about the only easy thing you can check and self fix. I don't know if you can see the water tank and if so see the side with the sensors and connector.

The OnePlace manual says that it is a learning device. It can sometimes need reset to relearn tank capacity.

This might be the best place to start:

To Reset the Panel to Default
1. Press and hold all three buttons ["pump", "tank" and "battery"] for approximately 6 seconds
2. Press the Default Button (Water Pump)
3. Press the Exit Button (Battery Level).
4. The Panel will return to the Water Pump Display
