Difficulty Finding Used Travato 59G/GL

Hello folks - in Houston and have been looking for several months but no seeing any 59G/GL pop up on the used car market (nothing <2022 model year). Is this normal? Maybe just too few were built, or it's rare someone lets theirs go? Just wondering if others have noticed this.
Thanks

(so it's clear by "pop up" I am not referring to the pop top --- I mean "show up on the used car market")

If you mean not many used Travatos in the Houston area, in your "back yard", that may be true. I don't know, personally. Unless you meant "that you can afford"? Class B vans usually hold their value better than the other motorhome options.

Further afield, there are lots, if you don't mind a road trip.
That's how the used RV thing works, usually.
Sometimes you gotta do a road trip or two to find them with what you want, at a price you can handle.

Hello Winterbagoal - not even mentioning price - just trying to find them. If you filter your link by max year of 2021 you see much fewer # nationwide. I am thinking I want to stay <=2021 since w/ 2022 model year they took out about 4" from width of bathroom and raised the floor (I have seen the >=2022's in person and the bathroom is super tight at 6'1"). If it weren't for this change in the floorplan I would look for a newer one. But can't even find a used one close by to look at. I really like the idea of the murphy bed in a class B and this looks to be about it.

You are right, it may take a road trip.
Thanks

If you look up Winnebago sales numbers (they are in the yearly reports) you'll see that 2022 was a great year for Class B sales, 6748 units total. That was more than double 2020's 3351 units, with 2021 being at 5431. And that's not narrowing it down to a certain floorplan/model, numbers get MUCH smaller I'm sure.

So yes, they are fewer <2022 units out there.

Check out/join this facebook group Winnebago Travato New & Used. https://www.facebook.com/groups/851163215219957 You might find someone selling their Travato in your area. If not, post what you are looking for and you might get a reply from someone who might be interested in selling. Good luck.

We looked at many Class B's for almost 18 months before I retired, so once I retired and was serious - We looked at 3 initially on RVtrader.com. First sold before we could make an offer. Second was used as a rental, and there were no front seat photos, so we assumed it was badly stained. Third was along the Ga coast and the hires inspector found body damage and heavy rust on the solar panel fasteners, and any other exposed steel. Finally found a 2019 from Toledo area, that the previous owners traded in. They did not seemed to use in from Nov- April based on CARFAX report. It was low priced since Winnebago dealer bad money selling it new, and on the new Class they traded for.
We did the inspection indoors, so we did not notice that the solar charge controller was not working. It blew a fuse (just inside the roof) and fried the circuit board. Winnebago customer service talked me through the change out, and bought an updated ZAMP controller online from a supplier in Arkansas. We moved the fuse inside the closet for easier access as 2022 and newer had done. We did notice an intermittent short on the fuse hold that likely caused the problem. So for $159 plus tax, and a $19 tube of self levelling caulk to reseal the solar connections on the roof we were good to go.
I would recommend watching pre-inspection You Tube videos, especially "Blue Ox on the RUN!"
Also understand the sales tax in certain states. You pay the Arizona sales tax there (10.5% in Tucson) and not your home state rates.
