2021 revel

Yes anyone have a 2021 Revel and can tell me how many hours on the lithium system you are getting with A/C on on a hot day say 90 degree? I am concerned that while not plugged in and no auto start like Travato Volta. Kind of disappointed not much power .

Hi Care Free 1,
In reviewing the last posted manual for the Revel from 2020, no mention of lithium batteries is found. When I look at the currently posted information on the Winnebago Site for Revel, it states that your Lithium Battery is 125 amp-hours. At 12.4 VDC, that would be 1550 watt-hours of total capacity. Assuming your Air Conditioner on low draws an average of 10 amps at 120 VAC, that would be 1200 watts of demand. It looks like your air conditioner will only run about an hour and 17 minutes. Of course, all of the above are assumed values.
Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome to the forum... unfortunately, it's a fallacy that you can run your A/C on your OEM Lithium batteries for longer than a few minutes. You might get 60 minutes if you're fully charged. But you will have zero battery power left to do anything at all after the attempt.

Experts… I have a 21 revel with the lithium battery systems. I can usually run the AC most of the night if I put it on Auto and set the temp ~74. It shuts off ~ 5 or 6am with 10% remaining. High Cool will usually last more than 2 hours. I’m in Georgia so heat and humidity is real.

Yes, since posting my comment above I've learned that the 2021 Revel with the new A/C unit and new Xantrax Lithium Battery option has twice the Amp Hours. In a number of tests I've seen it lasts between 4 and 6 hours depending on the outside temps and the inside settings.

In a small Class B with a decent amp hour battery bank - the new Revel has 250 amp hours - it is possible to run the A/C for a pretty lengthy period. That's really great.

The new Winnebago Ekko has even more optional amp hours at something over 600ah but it is also a larger RV. It will be interesting to see how long that RV can run the even newer A/C unit that supposed to be more efficient.

My much larger Class A would need thousands of amp hours to run the A/C even a couple of hours.
