I'm guessing you are describing a protective 3M type film applied over the OEM paint and decals. If so, careful removal of the film (plenty of youtube videos and discussions on this forum) will not affect the Winnebago logo decals.
Miss Rose and I removed the yellowing, beginning to peel 3M off our front cap soon after our Journey became new to us. Removal of the 3M carried with it nicks and bits of stone impact. So we removed the logo decal, glassed the impact pits and used our HVLP to shoot the entire cap with automotive paint (FinishMaster, Inc.) and clear coat. The experience was so pleasant,
, we removed ALL the decals and, older and WISER, had a local automotive paint shop paint the swoops back on and shoot clearcoat. We did not have him paint on the logos ($$$$$). Anyway, much as we believe our winne is perfect, Winnebago has not once sent a retainer check for being a rolling billboard, and if people ask, we just tell them it is one of the new mid size Integras.
