Winnebago FORZA

I have a new Forza. The Rv will not hold the road. I can feel every crack in the road through the steering wheel.I sincerely hope this is not normal. I’m not getting any help from the dealer I purchased it from. I have driven Freightliner chassis but larger, that does not do this.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm no suspension expert, but I would look first at the front end alignment, especially toe in and caster.

I'm betting your tires are over-inflated. When they are, the coach drives like a wild squirrel on the road, and you'll feel every bump.

Set your tire pressures to 1) actual coach weights - have the coach weighed at a CAT scale, and go to tire manufacturer's website, set COLD pressures based on their recommendations; or 2) to placard pressures which is posted on the sidewall close to driver's seat.

Preferably have coach weighed as you drive it and set tire pressures accordingly. This costs you about $10 and you can do it yourself. If this doesn't do the trick, then look at alignment and other issues.

Winnebago Forza

We bought a Forza 38R in Yuma and drove back to Illinois over some very rough roads and also some very tough winds. The coach held the road just fine. After we got home I took the coach to a local Winnebago dealer to have the satellite antenna converted from DirecTV to Dish and also had them check the air in the tires. All tires were at 110 psi after sitting for about 2 hours so I would say they were cold. I didn't check the placard by the driver's seat but it rides and handles fine.

Forza 34T

David,
I too purchased the 34T and it also rides rough. I keep reading about the front end alignments but I can't believe every new 34T needs an alignment coming off the lot new.
I dropped my tire pressure to 100 psi after a couple of hours but it didn't help. Hopefully someone has an answer to the problem.

Bill

I installed Sumo Springs on all four corners of my Adventurer 35P and it makes a world of difference in how it rides and drives. I previously had the front aligned, installed a Blue Ox Trucenter, and a Blue Ox rear track bar. Drives like a dream now.

The fixes you used probably will not apply to the Forza since it's a DP vs your gas rig. They're completely different chassis and suspensions.

Yes, I know Forza is a DP but he has suspension problems and I was simply making suggestions. My bad.
