I noticed on my insurance policy there is no separate mention of glass coverage, it looks like it is covered under comprehensive which includes my $1,000 deductible. Is this pretty standard for Class A motorhome insurance?

It's becoming that way. Every carrier is different. Every year I ask about "glass coverage".
This is why I lowered my deductible to $250.
Note: The Harford does not have "storage rates," but I can change coverage to comprehensive only when I store my RV for 7 months at a time. So lowering my deductible works for me without too much damage to my wallet. However, if you drive your RV throughout the year then I know what you mean. $1000 deductible hurts when you need a windshield replaced.
A windshield installer once gave me this tip: Never replace just 1 RV windshield if you a split-window type RV.
