Which headlight bulb goes where?
We have a 2004 Itaska Suncruiser 33V that the headlights are getting fairly dim on. I decided to upgrade to LED so I ordered the kit to complete the project. When I removed the bulbs I noticed that the 9005, high beam, was on th outboard side of the driver side lense. The 9006, low beam was on the inboard side. Problem is, the passenger side was exactly opposite. Any ideas which is correct? Obviously been that way for a long time and could have a lot to do with why the headlights performed so badly. Winnebago wiring diagram does not specify.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think what he’s trying to figure out is, which lens does the bulb go into. His are mixed up.

I may be missing the idea but if this is true, can you turn on only the low beams and see which location lights and put the low beam bulbs there and the high beam bulb in the other?
But I'm open to being told I'm way off!

Maybe take all of the bulbs out, turn on the low beams, and us a multimeter to find the powered socket. Install only in the powered sockets.

Like 99% or more of the cars on the road, or at least on these Chevy Impala headlights, the low beams are outboard of the high beams.

Yeah I think if I’m understanding his dilemma correctly, he’s wondering should the High beam be to the outside or inside, because on one side it’s wired one way, and on the other side it’s wire the other way, so he’s just wondering which ones right.

Thanks everyone! Low beams, 2006; are indeed on the outside.
