WHAT IS THIS THING? 2005 Voyage

Inside the chin of my 2005 Voyage just under the front license plate there is a wire mesh screen, about 3 feet by 5 inches, with an aluminum rail on top and bottom.

An electric wire leads from somewhere near the engine to an L-shaped bracket with a hole, about 1/2” diameter in it, affixed to the bottom rail by two screws. The end of that wire pokes through the hole, held in place by a plastic grommet/clip.

Do you have the compass/temp readout om the dash?

I do. It sounds like you are describing the temp sensor.

Take a look at the upper right corner of page 7 of the Front End Wiring Installation diagram for your coach.
