What do these switches do?

On a 2011 Tour QD

I have been through the manuals, many times, and have not found these switch functions.

In the panel above the entrance door where the antennae control is, there are 2 switches.

1: Accent
2: Speaker

I have flipped them and flipped them, they appear to do nothing. Do you know they are suppose to do?

Try the accent at night when it may be darker in there. My guess is there is accent lighting somewhere in the rig. 2. Speaker....? may for an outside speaker? Good luck and that is just my guesses.

Not sure if you saw it, but I saw your question the other day on the WBGO forum and posted this -

That accent switch on my 14 Journey turns on a rope light above the cabinet over the door all the way around to the one over driver's side - not real bright, especially during daytime. My other switch in that location turns on lights over the dash. Don't have one that says speaker....

I think on the Tour - the accent lights are in the center ceiling medallion. It's a rope light tucked in above the wood to give an indirect light look.

Maybe there's a blown fuse(s) in the 12 volt panel?

Both of those switches can be seen on page 2 of the TV/DVD Wiring Installation diagram for your coach. Winnebago has provided a Body, 12 Volt Wiring Installation diagram but unfortunately not a 12V Wiring Diagram for your coach.

By looking at the labels on the wires connected to those switches and referencing the Wiring Identification Guide you can see the following:

SPEAKERS:
FG / 16/10 YEL AMPLIFIER POWER SOURCE AMPLIFIER POWER FEED

FH / 16/10 WHT AMPLIFIER GROUND
ACCENT:
JC / 14 YEL OVERCURRENT PROTECTION (15A FUSE/BREAKER TYPICAL) COACH LIGHTING, ETC CIRCUIT #1 (REF NC)

KKP / 14 YEL LOUNGE CEILING ROPE LAMP SWITCH (CIRCUIT #1) LOUNGE CEILING ROPE LAMP (REF CIRCUIT SSZ)
So it appears that the SPEAKERS switch turns ON/OFF the amplifier for the speaker system. The ACCENT switch controls the ceiling rope lamp in the lounge.

The front of the coach has a translucent panel as does both sides. Perhaps there should be a light behind these? Perhaps this is what the accent switch should do?

When parked there are no lights in the front of the coach other than the stairs.

From 2012 forward, the Tour Accent Light was the rectangular rope light shown in the ceiling here. They do not show anything like that for 2011.

I wonder if it is just a second switch four your under cupboard lights?

On the 2011's neither switch functions unless there is a person inside your rv who speaks very poor English and has a heavy accent. In those cases, press the accent switch followed quickly by the speaker switch. Then get over to any of the nearest speakers in the rig to hear clearly what the person is saying. On subsequent models these features were omitted.
