Weight of 2005 Journey 34H w/Cat

I looked and searched everywhere for this info and never did get it. I realize different options will change things, but at least this is a good starting point.

At a CAT scale today, completely emptied the three tanks - hot water still full, fuel tank filled up, and have no personal items on board.

Front axle 7040
Drive axle 15400

total of 22440 lbs

I've been across the truck scales in several states a number of times and those weights are very close to what I see for ours in travel trim with the Cummins ISB-02 and Allison MH2500.

Our 2004 34H runs a tad bit more than yours Mike. Probably cause I run with 1/2 a tank of fresh water but I'm thinking it's her personal items that may be weighing us down a bit....Lol!

You think that they lowered the overall weight or is that a difference just between CAT w/3000 and Cummins w/2500?

I also have wood laminate floors, maybe that adds more than your floors?

The actual weight of every motor home, even the same exact models is going to be somewhat different. Some folks get confused between the GVWR and the actual "curb weight". Just wondering, why you'd want the weights with an empty coach? No biggie to me. Below is the weights of our coach, an '04 Itasca Horizon, 36GD with the C-7 330HP CAT.

And, when I did this weight check, it was fully loaded for a trip, full fuel, full water, holding tanks emptied, but, everything else was ready for a trip, clothes, tools, chairs and a ton of other stuff. I wanted to know what it weighed as we motored down the road.

So I know how much I can add. I would have liked the corner weights too, but CAT scales don't do that. Once I'm loaded with gear and a full tank of fuel and water, then I will weight her again.

My GAWR and GVWR are the same as yours.

Gotcha, I see now. I personally have never really worried too much about the corner weights. My compartments are set up and meticulously outfitted with components/tools/equipment/luxuries/etc. based on what will fit in a given amount of space. To me, it doesn't matter very much at all what the four corners are as I could not do much about any differences anyway. And besides, if one person, i.e. the co-pilot leaves her seat for any reason, the corner weights just changed anyways.

Some get really anxious over the corner thing. I just weighed the axles and, based on those weights, used the tire charts for recommended tire pressures. So far, in four years and 22,000 miles, no odd issues, no ill handling effects, no bazar tire wear, my ride is good, and my mpg, well, no matter what I do on that one, it's still 7-8 mpg.
