water pump mystery suncruiser 38Q

I just filled my water tank. after unhooking the hose at the source and turning on the water pump, water is flowing out through the outside inlet"spigot" (?) . Water flows faster when the valve is set to normal, but it also flows when the valve is set to tank fill. In either case water is not made available to the inside faucets.

Any suggestions?

You have one of your selector valves set incorrectly ... I suspect it is the TANK FILL / SUPPLY

It could also be the selector for winterizing.

Been there ... done that ... more than once ...

Yes, that makes a lot of sense.
Unfortunately there is only one valve for the 38Q. It has two settings: TANK FILL and NORMAL. The gushing happens for both settings.

arneinfloria, sounds like the city water inlet check valve is stuck open, look and see if you can see the ball inside the check valve. Try pushing the ball with a small screw driver to re-seat it. A Plastic hose valve will work in a pinch.

if I recall the winterization valves are towards the rear of the MH in a different bay than the fresh water hookup. check your other bays.

Problem Solved. Time on roof was wasted

Thanks!!! A small rock kept the valve open. A simple push with a screwdriver solved the problem!!!

Thanks again. The pictures were helpful.
