I think that most of the warranty on the Winnebago coach is just a myth. One thing I learned is the dealer has to call Winnebago and/or the system manufacturer to get the OK just to do more than glance at a problem. I had a problem with my genset surging until it was loaded. I had a clear understanding that the dealer was to do nothing that wasn't covered by warranty. Well they looked at it, checked it and gave me a $65 invoice. No trouble found they said. I said BS. I called Winnebago when I got home and they said they never should have charged me. He also said these units tend to run pretty lean causing this PROBLEM and he said the dealer cannot by law make any carb adjustments. He told me to look for the mixture screw and pop off a cap or something to get at it but I didn't see any way to get to it. I had the carb elevation mixture set to 5k feet where we usually use the coach and so I turned it down to 3K feet and problem solved. 5 seconds to turn the elevation screw and a $65 invoice. Who got the real screw here?

I found these tools/parts in my owners manual bag inside a plastic bag. There is a good sized allen wrench, a pair of gray clips and a bolt with washers. Anyone have any idea what they are for? I looked in the manuals for all the equipment and systems and didn't see anything.

BTW, there is a manual pull strap in the awning info bag. If the awning won't retract due to a motor problem, you will need this strap and a small allen wrench to remove a couple screws to get the awning stowed. No allen wrench included, just the strap.

The Allen key should be for the doghouse cover. The screw and other part, I will have to think about.

I would say the two stamped steel parts are radio removal tools. Don't lose them.

I'm waiting for a response from Winnebago about my air conditioning. At 8,000 miles it should be still working properly. I'm also waiting sor a response about the part coming off under the hood. That part should be part of a recall. That part could have killed someone if it came off on the road.

I have called every automotive place around and the Winnebago dealers. They don't carry Plexus. I'm waiting for a response from CCP Composites about this product.

And Ford has warned me that it could be a part from Winnebago so I will have to take a chance and go to Ford.

The following is the response from Winnebago:

The adhesive we you use on that part is call plexus, you can purchase it at an auto body or hardware store. As for the dash A/C issue, I believe that is a Ford issue. You will need to take it to Ford for repair. I do not have the prints you are looking for. Ford will also be able to give you prints on their side for the chassis.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us at 1-800-537-1885.

After a second thought, I decided to give a try.

Wow! See now the two chairs are 4½" further apart!

For the cost of 4 new bolts: 2 mechanical that must be longer than the original, and 2 wood srews.

Another CHF!
whats the wood for>>>>

ive done this on two 26 hes and didn't need wood... so the two screws were long enough... in fact... I used the other two bolts and added nuts and washers...only bad thing was try'n to hold the bolts... and tightening from below..

I like the TV mounted in the bedroom. Great idea. I'm not sure about getting Plexus from Amazon in the US. Trying to order items from the US is harder than if someone tried to smuggle something in from Mexico.

Waiting for another reply from Winnebago. I found a company in Canada that I can get Plexus. The problem is they need to know exactly what type of Plexus Winnebago recommends for gluing this bracket back on. plexus is a product with many applications.

I left them off on my 2013.. I put some good foam rubber tape up in the corners so it didn't rattle... they make the hood stick out tooo far anyways...

I don't have a rattle in my slide out. Is this when you go down the road or when you move the slide?
