I have considered a U shape dinette as an option... till I took measurements and compared to existing ones of various models. Conclusion: the available space is too small.

Do you have a similar procedure for the passenger chair?

I thought I would post a picture of a simple cup holder. I used double sided tape and electrical tape along the window frame. I used the cup holder all season.

Did some small mods for storage. Built a couple of mag racks one by the drivers seat and one just behind. A small spice rack. and an overhead rack to keep the manuals and stuff from sliding all over the cabinet

26HE small mods

Forgot two. In the previous post, one is a shelf I added under the sink for the vacuum and the other was a small self I added under the bedroom shelf. I also put a small edge wood barrier to prevent stuff sliding off the bedroom shelf.

Rottenkid, I noticed your bubble level on the wall, drivers side. A quick trick I came across was to turn on the levelling system when I am at the last 5-10 feet in the campsite. I find there are always little insignificant dips and rises that can change the MH a few degrees one way or the other. Most of the time I can get things within 0-0.5 degrees, at the very worst, I can level length wise or width wise using the panel. It think you will find the panel is a bit sensitive. I also found the feedback to the panel is about 1 or two seconds slow. I just back very slowly till I hit a sweet spot or the sweetest spot. Works pretty good really......

Ha Ha, yea the wood match turned out pretty good. I was getting tired of books maps and stuff sliding around in the overheads and as for the vacuum, well it had a homes in the MH before I decided it needed to be somewhere permanent. I just ran the wires from the plugin, along the side of the top drawer and used one of this wire wall enclosures to keep the wire under control.

macnut, a quick question. You've had your 26HE for a while now and I don't think I read anywhere where you swapped out your shocks. I still have the originals on ours and I found this summer the ride seemed to have improved, less harshness. But overall, it seems the more miles the better the ride....i was wondering what you experience has been.

I've noticed the same thing. I have original everything, and the ride seems to have improved over time. The biggest factor for me was keeping the tire pressure between 82 and 87. It makes handling easier and give me a smoother ride.

Bobbys Girl, noticed your post and comments on building a console. I have to agree the factory cup holder really isn't a cup holder. I built one for ours and have attached photos for you. It might help you design what your looking for.

Thanks for the reply Macnut. I have a TPMS to monitor my tire pressure. The TPMS gives me some comfort in realtime monitoring of the front tires pressure and temp. I find the tire pressure is pretty stable. Once I installed the TPMS and got the pressure set on all 6 at 82 I really haven't had to touch them since. I do get concerned when, on a really hot day, the tire pressure will get up to 100+. I get a little nervous when the pressure is that high. But your right about the tire pressure and handling. As an experiment I dropped the pressure to 78-80. It improved the ride but sacrificed handling, so back to 82. lol. Was thinking of SumoSpring for awhile, but side to side is really not an issue for me when on the highway

We ended up going to an RV store. Yes the hook is wider

I changed mine to Monroes when the MH had less than 2K miles.
Twenty thousand miles later, it seems like the ride is less harsh... tires, springs and shocks wearing our just a bit maybe?

Now I am having 300lbs of dead weight added to the front... will report in a few weeks.

Ha ha, or you end up with a tiny table. I looked at the same thing, not enough room for the extra legs and feet as well. Ive been measuring and checking out the possibility of using a "jackknife" couch to replace the dinette. The table would have to be removable. My big concern is how big or small I have to go with the table.

about the batteries charging circuit

From Winnebago: http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/...ire_180347.pdf

Going back to a previous discussion about defective or weird batteries charging circuits, there seems to be 2 different ones. I do not know when was the cut off in 2013, but mine has the primary one (unidirectional, refer to sheet 3-4) while others think they have the BIM (Bidirectional Isolator Management, refer to sheet 1-2).

Since my Solenoid does not make reliable/consistent contacts between the 2 banks of batteries, I am inquiring about a possible factory upgrade.

My investigation of this intricate circuitry has taught me a lot, but not enough to do modifications myself.

I have a 2013 and the chassis battery was not charging when the RV was plugged in. I installed a Trik-L-Start and It works like a charm.

But the alternator has always charged both the chassis and the house batteries?
It is not the case with mine... at least, it is not reliably doing so.
