Under sink filter

I have a under sink filter also in my Vectra. I researched and found the filter is really expensive. We buy a filter to put in line which filters all our water coming into the system. I put the filter between the water connection of my coach and the hose to prevent any flavor or odors from the hose. Hope this helps.

I have the same motor home. The under sink filter cartridge is a 3M model A1. I think it is available from Amazon but the numbers are different.

Ours had the 3M filter in when new, I bought one the first year, but it was longer than the original one, so I raised the filter mount a couple inches. I now buy this filter.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has the same specs and is m 3M company, just a better price.

The reason the Aqua-Pure filter costs more is because its a vastly superior filter. There is more to consider aside from just the micron rating. The Aqua-Pure that Winnebago has been using for years supports Super Chlorination and will reduce the chlorine levels back to those required for the water to be safely used for cooking and drinking while cheaper filters will not have this capability. I've had no problem using the number printed on the side of the filter holder or the information in the Winnebago Black Bag that should have been provided with the coach in determining the correct filter to purchase when I stock up on replacements. The owners manual on the filter clearly states that you can pull the filter, put in the bypass plug that came with the coach, drain the filter and freeze it when its not in use to extend its useful lifespan. Just take it out of the freezer and allow it to come up to room temperature before reinstalling it for your next trip.

These are commercial grade filters used in restaurant, cafeteria, etc beverage dispensers and are among the best available out there.
