The weight of our 2015 38Q
Finally had an appointment with Al at the SKP park in Bushnell to weigh our rig.
As promised one of our members, here are the numbers (⅓ gas, ⅔ water, empty gray and blackwater):
GVWR: 26,000 us: 22,880
GAWR front 9,000 us: 7,280
GAWR rear: 17,500 us: 15,600
Needless to say we are well within the limits.

thanks! I finally was able to get the factory to provide me with a wet weight on a unit that had all of the available options for a 'worst case' scenario. 'wet weight' is a full tank of fuel, full tank of fresh water and a full tank of LP. the actual axle weights as provided by Winnebago are:
Front Axle 6,843 lbs. (9000 gawr)
Rear Axle 15,457 lbs. (17,500 gawr)
Total 22,300 lbs. (26,000 gvwr)
those numbers are very close to your measurements and make me very comfortable with the available payload.
we initially wanted a 2015 38Q but by the time I had the weight info from the factory they were taking orders only for a 2016. interestingly enough the first 2016 models coming off the line were identical to the 2015 models. this was called the J38QU1. we absolutely had to have a driver's door and were told the U1 model would only be in production for a short time as the new 2016 38Q...the J38QU2 model...would be the only model produced and the U2 model would not have a driver's door either std or as an option because the front cab was completely re-designed. and while we liked what we saw in the re-design we wanted the driver's door more.
we also got the factory to do some customizing (at a price of course) for us. we deleted the standard co-pilot chair, couch and recliner and will be getting a 6-way power co-pilot chair and the EZ Rest Sofa and recliner from the Meridian line. we like the looks of that couch and chair and they are much more comfortable to boot.
so our order was placed for a U1 and it should be rolling off the factory floor in the 3rd week of July; the dealer should have it no more than a week later when we will take delivery but not possession. the dealer will be keeping it and working through a list of items to be added along with some additional customizing.

rk911, be sure and post some pictures, I thought we were doing a lot when we had them install a 2 door refrigerator with ice make ( for a price).

Axle weights are handy if you want to know what to inflate the tires to according to the inflation charts. Corner weights are even better for using the charts.

corner weights are best but can be difficult to obtain. individual axle weights are next best and relatively easy to get. individual axle weights ensure that you are not overweight on either axle. it IS possible to be overweight on one axle and still weigh less than the GVWR. I know this first hand.
