Tall DIY Car Wash in Tucson?

Anyone know of a tall car wash, or open with no roof, where one could wash a motorhome? In Tucson, Arizona. Google was no help on this one.

Hah! I'd guess you pretty much have to have a map and drive around to the various car washes in your city, or maybe state to find one. Usually I bump into them when I'm staying in an area. I remember a truck wash chain that does RVs but I don't think they're on the west side of the Rockies yet. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

Then I'll occasionally pass by a wash where it's tall and wide enough for my RV. I've used a couple of those, lots of work though. Not to mention all the ladder climbing to get on the roof or in one car wash, I used the balconies on either side.

But...don't think it'll be easy to find these few and far between places using Google. Pretty much I've always found them just driving around.

Slim pickings for us old Tucson folks.

Triple T Truck Wash closed about a year ago. They were good n cheap at $2/ft wash and dry. Give them the sad eye every time we pass by.

There is a Blue Beacon in Eloy. About 45 mi north of Tucson.

No direct knowledge, but I've heard that Prince of Tucson RV park and Voyager RV resort allow residents to wash.

Flagstaff Carwash at Grant and Silverbell has an open bay. Only one I know of on the NW side. Would take some backing and filling to position yourself. Due to hose length you'd likely have to wash one side, jockey around and do the other.

On a more positive note, monsoons should start in five or six weeks. (Sorry)

Lazy Days has two high wash bays in the back lot but I doubt it’s available for DIY. I don’t know what they charge for them to do the work. The have a sign on the fence back there. It’s just prior to the entrance to the KOA.

I’ve used Tucson Wash N Wax at he KOA. Not cheap but good. You make appointments online. But it’s just at two RV parks.

We need a national directory just like we have for campgrounds, dump stations, gas stations and the like.

I called Lazy Days and they have a department (sub contractor?) that washes the RVs for $3/ft. and they are normally booked out about 1 week
