Maybe it would help if you showed us a couple pictures?

With my '94 Bounder, there were 4 screws that held a wooden fascia surround board on the front of the TV cabinet, once removed, allowed access to the tube TV. Just a couple wooden blocks kept it in place and only needed to lift it up a couple inches allowing it to be pulled out a few inches and turned a bit so the cables could be disconnected. Once they were disconnected, then I could lift it out fully.

Did it myself, with no help, but it was 60 lbs and no fun muscling it around.

Ours had the metal framework hanging down and a metal strap over the top of the TV, down the sides and bolted to the framework at the bottom. The strap was also glued to the top of the TV so hard to pry it loose and remove it. Bedroom TV was similar with a strap that was glued to the top of the TV. Once the strap is removed the TV should lift up and slide out. A helper is a good idea as they are heavy and awkward.
