Storing 2013 30T for 5 months

This 'new to me' 2013 Vista 30T has two battery shut off switches by the door. Should I turn them off when I leave ? I usually leave the motorhome plugged it to 30amp.

Thanks
Jim

Just buy an 8" adjustable wrench, a pair of mechanics gloves to keep in the battery compartment and disconnect the battery grounds just after you store the RV. You do that, and there's nothing to worry about plus you don't need to be plugged into shore power. All it means is that you'll have to reset the clock in the radio and MW. Assuming your batts are in good condition and recently serviced by checking water level where needed, and fully charged when you park, they'll be fine when you're ready to roll again.

They do lose a bit every month while just sitting so be ready to top them off by jumping them so you can start the generator, or connect your car/truck to the chassis batts for 4-5 minutes than disconnect before trying to start the engine. Newer batteries don't even need a jump...you can start the genset right off and let it charge them up, that's if you have a Trik-L-Start or similar to top off the chassis batts when the genset is running.
