steering box

My 2005 adventure 37B wanders a lot while traveling down the road. I have had the front end checked out and been told everything is in fine order. A fellow rv'er told me that I should have the steering box tightened up and that this year and model of Winnebago has had problems with the steering box loosing up and this will cause the rv to wonder while traveling down the road. Has anybody have experience with this and is this a good idea to have the steering box snug up. What are the pros & con's to do this.
