Solei 34T Satellite

We just got our Itasca Solei 34T and can not find inside portable dish connection to bring it to the Direct TV receiver. I have tried to contact Wennebego service twice but nobody is answering. Out side has input for portable sattelite but inside wall plate only is referring to "roof satellite 1 and 2 and to bedroom jumper". Any Forza or Solei owners with their experience is greatly appreciated.

Wall Plate

EdMan, The drawing for your coach only shows one wall plate shown below and no satellite feed to the bedroom. They may have installed the wrong wall plate. If so the one on the right is from the external satellite feed.

Thanks so much this helps. Where were you able to get this drawing? the confusing part was that the operational manual reads like the wall panel is installed "Your coach is pre-wired with two satellite dish coaxial cables from the roof-mounted satellite dish. Both cables are located near the front TV entertainment center cabinet (satellite prep area).
If you desire a satellite receiver in the bedroom area, a third coaxial cable is provided from the front satellite prep area to the bedroom satellite prep area (a jumper cable is required at the front satellite prep area for operation)." I'll try the one on the right. Funny I had tried both of the once that said "from roof 1 and 2" but not the one on the right side.

EdMan, here is the link, lots of good stuff.
Manuals & Diagrams
Either the drawings are not correct or the manual speaks with a forked tongue.
How do you get video to the back TV is there a video switch that the drawing does not show?

There is no video switch to the bedroom. There is however an HDMI in the rear overhead coiled up that diagram is not showing.

I removed the wall panel and sure enough tape on the coax cables are per drawing sent by Grant and matches what is in the coach. Thanks Grant again.

EdMan, More info on your satellite wiring. There is a coax that runs from the roof satellite to the back cabinets. So if you have a roof mounted dish you can add a receiver in the bedroom (no jumper direct wired). The HDMI cable you found in the back cabinet goes to the bedroom TV so you can put in a DVD player or sat receiver and feed the video/audio to the that TV.

Hi...Just a note...our Forza is in the shop now having the Roof top Satellite installed. The dealership called and said it took them over an hour to figure out the wiring. The diagrams from the factory were incorrect on my coach. They said they would have to give us a lesson on how everything connects/works and where everything hooks up. Especially the portable satellite. We spent one weekend trying to get even the cable from a campground to work. Glad we sent this to the professionals. Uggghh! Good luck with your coach!

Good news is that after a couple of e-mails to Winnebago Service they did send us the correct wall plate and we are very pleased with the service. What I don't understand is that even though it seems like Winnebego already knew their mistake but rather chose to wait for the new costumers to be confused and pissed before taking action.

My dealer is still working on getting sat to work on our Forza 38R using dish from my old coach. Hopefully they get it resolved today.

Wow it really seems like more complicated than it should be. The operational manual says the coach is suppose to be all wired for roof antenna all needed to be done was to install and seal the dish. I will be interested to know what your dealer had to do to ale it work. Keep us informed.

Hopefully we will be getting it back on Friday....we will let everyone know what the dealership said. And what they suggest for our portable unit as well. Apparently they had problems with the wiring diagrams from the factory not matching up correctly, which set them back.

The issue appears to be that the wiring is set up for the Travler dish which is a 3 or 4 wire system I think. And, when the factory does the dish, they put the control in the cabinet over the passenger seat. All of the cables from the roof terminate in that cabinet behind the back panel. Each distribution cable is labeled with a number of orange tape strips (1, 2, 3, etc.) which correspond to the cables going to the salon and bedroom receiver areas. The cables from the roof need to be tied into the appropriate distribution cable assuming the dish is something other than a traveler. Took my tech better part os day to figure out. I now have sattellite on both TV's on my 38R.

ctaurie1, Yes all of the necessary cables are there. Looks like Winnebago cut a few corners and you have to read between the lines on the TV/DVD Wiring Installation drawing.
Like the cable for the rear satellite receiver goes all the way to the front in the over head cabinet and requires a F-type inline connector to connect it to the satellite dish. And EdMan having the wrong plate does not help.

Our 2014 Forza 34T is not allowing for a coax cable hookup at campgrounds to work through any of the TV's. We have tried the connection on the bottom 50AMP Compartment Coax Cable Connector Plate with no luck. We have tried hooking the Coax Cable from the Campground to the connection point above the passenger seat with no luck. We have removed the TV from above the door in the living area with no luck. We have removed the TV from the bedroom and tried that connection point with no success. We took the Coax Cable from the Campground and tried both RV's on either side of us and they work so it is not the Campground Connection.
Anyone have thoughts of how we might get this to work?
