Sightseer 33C owners

We sold our class C motor home this fall and are looking very seriously at the Winnebago Sightseer 33C (2010 or 2011) as our replacement unit next spring. We've seen and driven one and really like it. Now we'd love to hear from anyone who already owns one about your experience with it--good, bad or indifferent. Thanks.

We are selling our class c and looking seriously at the 33c as well as the Tiffin 34 tga. They are both very residential in livability.

We have a 2010 Itasca Sunova 33c. We had it since July and traveled from Washington state to Florida, taking our time. We are still in Florida. As far as the the 33c goes it's been great. The floor plan was perfect for us and plenty of power towing a Yaris.

Bob and Patti,

Thanks. Thumbs up is good to hear, especially since we love the floor plan. We did take a brief test drive in a 33C last month, and thought it rode and handled quite well for a gas coach. We did notice some whistling wind noise around the passenger's side window--have you experienced that? But otherwise, it seemed pretty quiet--is that your perception as well?

Anyway, thanks again for the encouraging words.

No, we only get wind noise when it's very windy going down the road.

Must have been a quirk in the unit we drove, because it was not a windy day. Overall, do you find it pretty quiet?

Not as quiet as my car, but a lot quieter than some other motorhomes that I have been in. The DW aand I can have a normal level conversation going down the interstate without a problem.

good layout

We bought our 33C in Nov. 09, after some serious plumbing problems direct from the factory we've driven our Sightseer to From NJ to FL and back, Nova Scotia and back and are packing up for FL again. Since fixing the problems we've been very happy with our RV. You are right about the floor plan. The Two of us have found the arrangement of the living room to be more than satisfactory. Good luck. Tom

ps we have the workhorse chassis and GM engine. T

Archtop1,

Glad to hear you are happy now that you got your plumping problems resolved. We've seen your earlier posts about those problems, and have to admit they made us a little nervous. But I guess you can get a coach with problems no matter what brand you buy. Thanks for the response.

Chris and Jacky,
Our's is a 2010 and we've done a few things to it, mostly in the wiring for the TVs.
Feel free to contact us anytime.
