Roof snow removal?

We planning to depart for warmer weather this Saturday or Sunday. Last night's blizzard left 15 inches of snow on the roof of my Sunstar. Any suggestions about how I can safely remove that white stuff without causing a hazard on a highway.

You can go up there and "shovel" with a broom rather than a shovel. If you've got room in your drive way a couple of quick panic stops might do some of it.

Have a good trip!

Do you have access to a push broom? I'm not sure I'd get up on top with that much snow but maybe you can use a ladder to push the snow off one side of the RV?

Thanks for the ideas. The push broom idea gave me the thought to put a stiff brush on the end of the 12 foot pole that I use to wash the RV. I will give it a try on Friday, then report back. I am hoping to avoid giving someone traveling behind me behind hit by an avalanche from that roof.
Thanks guys!

Last I heard, it's still a ticket-able offense to leave too much snow on your roof and have it slip off and crash onto a following vehicle. That's why it's rare to see a semi with a lot of snow on the trailer's roof. If a cop sees that happen, even if it doesn't hit anyone, they may present you with a ticket.

If its powder snow, use a leaf blower from a ladder taking care not to blow snow in your fridge roof vent or pack the AC

This is what I did
I had 40 inches on the roof.
I’m leaving December 28th for Myrtle, Florida and Hilton Head

Here is the complete movie if you have time to watch.
We were on several weather channels

I drove my MH about 1 mile to melt it
I took it slow, about 10 mph
In a heated truck wash bay for 18 hours
Slow turns, slow everything
