We planning to depart for warmer weather this Saturday or Sunday. Last night's blizzard left 15 inches of snow on the roof of my Sunstar. Any suggestions about how I can safely remove that white stuff without causing a hazard on a highway.
You can go up there and "shovel" with a broom rather than a shovel. If you've got room in your drive way a couple of quick panic stops might do some of it.
Have a good trip!
Stay Healthy

Do you have access to a push broom? I'm not sure I'd get up on top with that much snow but maybe you can use a ladder to push the snow off one side of the RV?

Thanks for the ideas. The push broom idea gave me the thought to put a stiff brush on the end of the 12 foot pole that I use to wash the RV. I will give it a try on Friday, then report back. I am hoping to avoid giving someone traveling behind me behind hit by an avalanche from that roof.
Thanks guys!

Last I heard, it's still a ticket-able offense to leave too much snow on your roof and have it slip off and crash onto a following vehicle. That's why it's rare to see a semi with a lot of snow on the trailer's roof. If a cop sees that happen, even if it doesn't hit anyone, they may present you with a ticket.
