I don't know your coach but here's how many other fireplaces are mounted and how we've removed some. Look for wood trim around the fireplace face - carefully remove the 2 sides if possible. Then look for screws holding the fireplace to a frame of either wood or metal. Remove carefully while figuring out where the power cord is plugged (or wired) in.

lv2roam2 not sure if you meant to put tv where you wrote fireplace. The op wanted to remove tv not fireplace.

I tried to look at pictures of units like yours to see what type of tv you had. From what I see it looked like flat screen. If thats the case "somewhere" there are latches to remove tv from the frame. The problem is finding those latches!

A little more information on tv and how you think its secured would be helpful.

Two things Welcome to the forum and two it will be helpful for future post if you put your coach information in the signature block.

One of the first steps might be to find what TV you now have as they tend to get changed over the years from 2008!

That comes from the parts catalog here:
https://catalog.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm
I find it can help to take thing apart if I can find where the joints are located. Not much help in this case, it sounds!

On Tv of that sort that has a stand, I have seen screws at the joint from the stand to the TV, but that will still leave the stand mounted to the top?
Chance of reaching under the top surface to find attachments going up into the base of the upright part of the TV stand?
Maybe a close look for something like a flat item with something like Tork screw which might be easy to miss seeing if we were expecting to see a bolt head sticking up?
Something like this, maybe? Maybe run up into the stand base but easy to miss as almost totally flush!

Fireplace tv

Thank you for the response but the stand is just connected to the tv it has no structural significance it’s completely free of the surface! I will get a mirror and a lot of light to try and find a way. I will keep you posted

YUP! Things can be a big mystery at times and what works can be hard to find!
Another idea that might not be any better?
They may have screwed a metal plate to the cabinet top and then used a plastic "cover" to snap down on the plate?

Too many tricks to guess!
Wish you luck!

Apologies Guys!! Brain went to fireplaces in a flash. On TVs - some WBGOs have a wood trim piece across the top - the TV may be mounted on a metal 'hangar' that requires taking out some screws and then sliding the TV off the hangar (carefully).

Brain freeze can get to be pretty common on these things! I'm with you on being a bit confused and I think I'm missing the details, also!
When they say the picture matches what they have but then say the stand has no structural use, is not fastened to the cabinet and then mention of the bed? What I see is the TV and fireplace are in the front of the RV and the bed in the back?
Does that kind of leave the TV floating in the air if it is not attached at the base nor have any wood around it?

I'm sure I'm missing the details! Reminds me of trying to order a doughnut when in the South side of Canada!
Best to wait and see what they find!
