Rain coming in under?

OK, I am reaching out to those who have experienced some "wind driven rain" making its way around? under? through? your slide seal.

It seems our Vista was situated such that the wind was aimed directly at the forward corner of our large slide (extended). The rain seemed to be making its way in... just enough water to be noticeable (an ounce or two?) in the form of a small rivulet.

Upon inspection I could see how some rain water that was being pushed by the wind could move along the seal "underneath the slide" and find its way in on some of the irregularities along the bottom. It could also be sneaking its way around the "overlapped" seal where the lower motor is located. Hard to say.

I am almost tempted to rig up some sort of cover so that the wind can't push water in those directions.

Any experiences out there? Advice?

This happened to us during a thunderstorm , water was dripping in by the bottom rear corner behind the dinette. It was a sideways rain and I wasn't perfectly level either.
It was a doozy of a storm and by the time I felt like it lightened up enough to go outside and investigate the dripping stopped.
I never was able to find out exactly where it was coming in .

During these "heavy wind and rain" events I think I will try some different ideas to see if I can prevent this from happening again. Something as simple as a sheet of cellophane slapped on the corner just might do the trick.

If it happens again I will try to put more effort into figuring out exactly where the water is coming in. I don't think I want to go at it with a hose at this point... lol
I'll post here if I figure anything out.
