Puckering Vinal Wallpaper '17 Journey

Is anyone else ha ing issues with their wallpaper in their Class A? Seems to be around some windows and in other places (a few small seems). It appears to be somewhat "shrinking" away from the windows. Could it be caused by excess heat? Dealer checked windows last Jan and said no water leaks. They made one repair indicating paper needed to be heated and stretched back into place. It did not last.

Shrinking Wallpaper

We have the same issue with the exception that it was like that since it was new. It's like stretch marks around windows where they forced the wallpaper to fit. I noticed one place by a window recently where the wallpaper has shrunk away from the window. It's a 2017 and we never complained about it because we had so many other discrepancies that took priority to get fixed by Winnebago so we have just live with it.

Thank you for your reply! We have had a couple of problems, most fixed by warranty but wife is a bit torqued off by the shrinking wallpaper.

Then you need to heed your wifes wishes and buy a much bigger and more luxurious motorhome - one that will better suit your wife's expectations.

Funny, our 44ft is big enough and you would expect a $370K class A would have had a bit better quality!

Feel your pain Grumpy. Why don't they use paint? We've had good luck pricking the wrinkle with a needle, then ironing the wrinkle flat with our travel iron. Low temp.

We love our rig's size, floor plan and mechanicals. Although we occaisionally get that old fever, nothing out there has enticed us to cheat on Miss Winnie.

On the other hand, we are only half joking about buying another 2007 for spare parts.

It's heat related. My motorhome is parked where the afternoon sun is on the passenger side and the wallpaper on that side is puckered. No problem on the driver side which only receives a limited amount of morning sun. Couple that with interior temperatures that easily reach 100 degrees when parked in the driveway and it's no wonder there's an issue with wallpaper puckering. When I worked as a service advisor for a large RV sales and service dealer a few years ago we saw this problem quite often and disappointingly it is not a warranty issue.
