Parking brake on 2013 Ellipse

OK, here goes.
2013 Ellipse. Returned home from AZ. Unloaded "stuff" from rig to house. Parked rig, did not put down jacks. Rig sat with all batteries shut off for about 5 days. Went to show daughter new MH. Everything started OK although "Jacks Down" lights were on. Didn't look outside but turned on levelers and hit Retract after air pressure was in normal range. One jack, LR, raised.
All seems well, now. Drove short distance, stopped, applied Parking Brake with transmission in Neutral. I get the beeping sound that occurs when brake is set and you shift from Neutral to Drive or Reverse. If I put my foot on the brake pedal and depress it slightly, beeping goes away. When I take my foot off the brake pedal the beeping returns, even though Parking Brake is set. Tried to extend leveler jacks. Display on leveler screen says cannot do so as Parking Brake is not set!
I'm calling Winnebago on Mon. AM.
In the mean time, any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Please do follow up and let us know what Winnie had to say. Sounds like a strange problem.

Check the wiring plug on the back of the parking brake. It may have come loose. It just pushes on.

You guys are so smart!
Finally was able to check the wiring beneath/behind the dash.
Loose connection.
Thanks for the help.

Finally have closure on this problem.
Took the rig to Forest City for repair of several warranty items.
Tech found a wire was coming loose on parking brake switch.
Problem solved, at least for now.
