OBD 1 or 2 1996 Winnebago Vectra 34RQ

Hello I am seeing if anybody can help me figure out what my pin out is on my OBD port I only have 3 wires in the port currently and my goal is to use some type of OBD connection to talk to the computer on my 1996 Winnebago Vectra 34 RQ 454 engine on P30 chassis

I'm not sure what you mean when you say your trying to find out "what my pin is out" but I'm pretty sure that 454 of yours is a Vortec. 1996 was the introduction year. Don't know when your chassis was put together by GM and sold to Winnebago but its possible you could have a carryover model. That being said, 1995 and newer models use a OBD II scanner.

Good luck and hope this helps.

Are you looking for the location of the port on your particular coach or looking for a way to continually monitor your ECM? This thread is from the IRV2 fourm. You may do better posting your question over there.

my winnebago vectra year 1995 is obd1 and i put a paper clip both ends into a and b on the dianostic plug, this gives me the fault codes on the dash, insert with ign off, then turn ign on, dont start engine, read codes, fix faults, clear faults by holding in throttle and foot brake together. hope this helps.
