No Intent
“No Intent” is the name we gave our RV. It has nothing to do with whether one should buy an Intent. We love ours, but the double entendre was too good to pass up. It’s a play on the legal term of No Intent—as in we have no intentions when we head out, and the other meaning that I’ve made so many changes to it, that it’s nowhere close to our original intent—hence the “No” Intent. We even put the word “No” in front of the Intent decals on the side and back.
So to honor the above, I'll post some of the Mods and Upgrades.
More to come during this shelter in place as I finish up some overdue projects...
This is a movie I did showing how I got rid of some annoying rattles in our RV...

Congrats on your RV. RVs are great sources of projects during “stay at home” times! I’ll look forward to your posts!

Thanks, Yes, I’ve got too much time on my hands so I’m making some videos of the things I’ve done that will help others like so many on this forum have helped me get to where I am with the RV.

By the way, thanks for the video. Great job on the stove, window, shade, and dash. I’ve found it easier to train my brain to ignore the rattles and squeaks than to track them down and fix them, but you have given me new inspiration!

LED Bathroom Mirror Upgrade
This upgrade was for the wife. If I’ve learned anything after 25 years of marriage, is “Happy Wife Happy Wife”. So I acquiesced to her request for more lighting in the bathroom.
I installed a back lighted LED mirror, that includes a dimming function.
She LOVES it.
More details on the install,if you want to know what was involved...

To Start, or not to start during shelter in place
I know there’s been a lot of discussion on many of these boards about whether to run your engine without driving it around the block to warm it up occasionally. Since I have a lot of time on my hands I went through the Ford manual and this is what they had to say. Thoughts?

More I tent upgrades...
Today I added a link in the bottom of my signature profile to include the gallery where I post a lot of photos of things that we did to RV. Videos take a little longer, but I’ll be posting those as well with a little more description. But if any of this inspires you to do something during this downtime all the better! Stay safe, and perhaps just as importantly, SANE...

Yep, thanks. You got me. My “Intent” was to make it our first owned RV. As I may have mentioned, we rented quite a few over the years, before we purchased this one last year in July. I was a mechanic at one time, in my past life, and later my degree was in electrical so this is right in my wheelhouse, because let’s face it, these rigs need a lot of attention and upgrades to make them a home.
But, I enjoy every challenging moment...

26m Intent LED Speedometer Lights
My latest video for installing an LED front speedometer cowl light to illuminate the gauges, as well as some mood lighting and more. Hope it makes sense. Cheers! https://vimeo.com/user37682685/revie...397/2a63e5ca5e

Thanks Denny,
I’m trying to keep myself busy.
The Sumo Springs we’re on my todo list. Not sure if I’ll get to those. We’re they worth it in your opinion?

I only done the front. (Rear installation required removing the duals which was more than I wanted to wrestle with) . But I believe it was worth the $550 because it tightened the front end down by reducing the porposing. Anti-sway took care of the rolling and Sumo took care of the front to back roll. Less movement in drivers seat the better for me. I got nervous being tossed around with the was it came from the factory.

Will have a review of them in a few months if the travel restrictions lift.

Hadley Air Horn Install
I has some time to post this video for the Hadley Air Horn install in our Intent. I used a decibel meter at the end to compare the sound, as the camera's microphone attenuates loud sounds. AMAZING DIFFERENCE! Doubling of sound intensity (acoustic energy) belongs to a calculated level change of +3 dB.These made a 14+ db increase over the stock horns! Let me know if you have any questions...

COVID-19 Projects for the RV
And with all this time on my hand, I finished a video inspired by many of you here, to pay it forward and to inspire more.
It's a LONG video, so grab a Corona or two and sit back and chill...

Ok, I finally received the Winnebago “tape” that they use to seal seams in the interior walls.
So I was able to complete the project, by adding a race way to cover the cord, and then camouflage the race way with the Winnebago side wall tape.
Everyone who has dealt with the impossible issue of fishing a wire through the insulated walls, might appreciate this work around.

Great idea Wyatt, how did you determine the color/ interior code to match the tape to the wall covering ? I had previously installed a battery monitor next to the door using an off-white wire cover attached to the door frame, looks ok but I might try your idea if I can match the wall. Did you get the tape from Winnebago or Lichtsinn ?

Winnebago no longer sell parts directly, so you have to go through a dealer and Winnebago drops ships parts to you.
I just called a dealer, gave them my model and vin #, and they shipped it out.

Thanks Wyatt, ordering some tomorrow. Good example of learning from others on this site, I had no idea that there was a tape like that. I am sure I can find other uses for it.
