We are thinking of purchasing a 2008 Winnebago Tour 40FD. Any thoughts or comments?

rvskipper--

We have a 2006 Tour 40KD and we love it. The FD floorplan is even nicer than the KD so I'm sure you would love it. We have had few of the common problems noted here on the forum, but of those that we have had they were easily corrected. All in all, our Tour is very sound and was a very good purchase. The only nagging problem we have had (which was recently fixed--finally--by the dealer) was a failed control board for the Intellitec Energy Management system which prohibited 50amp power use.

Hope this helps.

Have you driven the new Tour. Im interested if it rides hard. I like the Tour but I think the front axle is the same as a Journey and rides hard. The Vectra has Independent Front Suspension and rides smooooooooooth.

We love our Adventure. The adds have made it a pleasure to drive and the power is beyond words.
The down side is we spend 7 moths a year in the coach and we are thinking we might like more room. But at the end of the day we can not seem to find a better floor plan for us no mater what length of coach we look at.

Good answer....the 33V floorplan is very popular!

We're hoping to trade up to a DP some day.....
