New to us Adventurer 35A
We just took delivery on a '06 Adventurer. This is our first Class A coach.
Question for the group:
There is a cabinet over the driver and passengers seats in the sidewall. They look to be about 3" deep with the door hinged at the top.
What do you put in there? It seems too shallow to be useful and I'm afraid anything in there will fall and conk you on the head if you open the door.
Anybody have any experience with these compartments?

I put my vehicle log book along, DMV paperwork and dog information. On the passenger side is DVD's.

My passenger side cabinet came with a rack in it for CD/DVDs.
I keep books, field guide, domino's, etc. in the driver's side cabinet.

My wife keeps her purse in the passenger side one and I keep binoculars and a fanny pack in the driver's side.

I too keep binoculars on the drivers side (2 pr - one for me and one for the wife), the passenger side we use for CD's and DVD's. The pistons on the doors will keep them closed when you are moving with no problem.

We keep our paperwork and campground information on the drivers side and some maps on the passenger side.

Hi,
the one by the driver I keep all my roadmaps and flyers from campgrounds or national parks. The one on the passenger side I keep Vcr Tapes and a small tool case.
In 53K nothing has ever fallen out of those cabinets or any other cabinet for that matter. Things may have moved a little so you have to be careful when opening cabinets after you have stopped. We use a lot of slip stops which hold everything in place usually.
Congrats on your new coach and I'm sure it will give many years of great service as it is a Winnebago!

Drivers side I keep 2 portable radios, a electric multi-tester an all my papers (ins, registration) a notebook for registration in RV parks. Passenger side we have small reference books for ID on birds, rocks, plants an etc. plus a pair of binoculars. Oh an a swifter duster.

Hi and :welcome:
Drivers side I keep:
GPS and cellphone accessories, charging cables and a compact rain suit
Passengers side I keep:
Maps, my MilePost book, tire gauge, IR temp gun, gloves and fuses
Never been hit in the head, at least not by anything in those compartments

Welcome. I have the same coach and love it. My wife and I divied up ... she gets her side and I have mine. I have charger cables and misc. STUFF on my side. We traded a Pace Arrow 37A 2002 for our '05 Adventurer. Changed because we couldn't stand the 30 amp service and my wife loved the floor plan. Looking back, I feel it was a real trade up. Many little things that just make it more deluxe. Also very low mileage. Enjoy !

some neat stuff
On the driver side we keep 2 or 3 first aid kits, on the right goes a flashlight or two, and the electronic remotes.
