Need to buy a small starter motorcycle rack for back of 2005 Winnie voyage Anybody worked their way through this? Like to append a bicycle attachment as well.
I like the solid steel rather than the aluminum, because steel will bend before it fails, but aluminum can tear without any warning. Mine weighs 42 lbs and has a capacity of 300 lbs.
Over 10K road miles with no problems.
They are available with a "Pass-Through" design that allows another hitch mount appliance to be installed behind, but beware of total load.

We got our "M3 Moto-Tote" motorcycle carrier today from discountramps. had it assembled in about a half hour and rolled the 250 up, tied it down and backed out of the driveway with the lowest part of the carrier being 3.0 inches above the pavement. Happy Camper!!
I bought two more receivers to upgrade to a three point mounting system later down the road with ratcheting tie-downs ordered as well.

I highly recommend the use of spring loaded carabiners at the tie down ends. It's all too common for "J" hooks to pop off when tension is lost going over big bumps.

+1 on the use of a carabineer on the tie down ends. I found these at the trailer supply store that work good too. Can't ever be too careful when tying the bike down.

To Mr Miyagi: I noticed on the rear of your coach you do not have the original bars/grating on the lower and upper openings. Did you do something different, if so, what did you do and why? Curious.

Hi Barry, Actually, the original owner pop riveted 5/16 steel screen to replace the horizontal bars. I've read that these bars were somewhat problematic and there are traces of epoxy goop on the rear hatch which I assumed were an attempt to re-attach them.
I simply hand painted the screen black with a tire sponge. We bought our 04 34H in January and been camping two to three weekends ever since!! Happy Camping!
@ jkfunk...Did you get your motorcycle and rear rack?
