Lost Norcold manual

I have a 2006 Adventurer 38J and have misplaced the manual. I looked on the Norcold web site and do not see my manual. The fridge model is 1201LRIM and the serial Num. is 8239834. If anyone can point me to the correct manual to download I would appreciate it.

I bought the RV used and have only had this RV for 1 year. Last year I used the fridge on electricity only. I am getting ready for a 1300 mile road trip and wondering of running on propane would be better as it really wasn't that cold last year for me. However, it was a very warm time of year and it was really hot outside.

Are one of these what you are looking for?

I'm not sure if that model allows but we leave our fridge on "auto" mode so when driving it is using propane and when sitting it uses electric. Sometimes we will switch to propane as that seems to cool better than electric but mostly it's just on auto and we don't mess with it.

Check refrig temp

I had the same rig and you can put the setting on automatic for gas or electric and it will run fine. However, Please keep an eye on the food compartment temperature.. during a trip out West with the refrigerator running on gas while driving, the internal temp went up to 50 twice, and we had to throw away the contents. I discovered the issue was the coach temperature. While we were cool sitting up front with the chassis air on, the rear was 80-90 degrees, and the refrigerator could not compensate. My solution was to run the generator with the house air on. And yes I had it to 3 different RV shops and they could not find anything wrong.
After that trip I replaced the Norcold with a residential unit and couldn’t be happier, my ice cream was finally frozen.

You would be better off losing the Norcold unit. I had the same refer and when I pulled it out I found the plywood above unit burnt black. replaced with 50% larger residential samsung. uses less power, colder temps. great ice production. AND NO FIRES.
Good luck TJ
