Lippert Siphon Roof Vent Cap
I installed one on the black tank vent stack today, debating on whether or not to do the gray. The only issue we ever had so far was after 5 or 6 days without dumping black we could smell it when driving. Toilet and floor seal are both new so I figured the positive pressure from driving was somehow letting a bit of gas into the coach. Anyone tried them?

I also installed it and have not smelled the black tank while driving since then. I think you will be happy with it. Since I was up on the roof, I did both the black and grey vents.

Thanks, maybe I'll do the gray while she's in drydock

I did both about a month go. I was not smelling anything, but like the science and simplicity of the Syphon 360. I also like the screen.

What brand sealant did you use?
Yours layed down really nicely. the last self leveling silicone caulk I used didn't flow well.

Not sure if your question was for me related to self leveling, but I called Winnebago and they told me to use Manus - Bond 75-AM
I bought one tube and used about half. Been looking to seal anything I can find before it expires. I did go over every hairline crack I could find on other parts of the sealed roof (fans, skylight, antenna etc.), and placed some over it just as precaution.

Question wasn't worded very well but you answered it.
I'll try that brand in the future.
As for what to do with the leftover. Fill anything that can hold water. I saw a spot that was puddling on my sky light and filled it. Months later I noticed some rusty powder around the screw covers. Turns out those puddles had been leaking but everything was bone dry when I pulled the skylight interior cover. There was rot and rust to address.
Other areas I filled were around the SiriusXM antenna and around the exhaust vents.

Lippert Siphon 360
I have used the Siphon 360 before with great results and you are correct when driving the tanks can be slightly pressurized and "push" sewer smell into your coach. I would like to point out that many times the "sewer" smell is blamed on the black tank, but to be honest the gray can be as bad if not worse for bad smells. Remember that in with the gray water is organic material, such as skin cells, food scraps, etc. which all decompose in your gray tank. I have chased lots of "black tank" smells in the past only to determine the smell I was chasing was originating from the gray tank, the AAV's tucked up into the vanities under the sinks are the typical culprits. Anyhow, a long explanation to a short answer....put one on your gray tank as well!
