I'd love to hear from anyone who has thoughts or opinions on the model in general, difference between the years or who would recommend something similar that we should consider. It will serve us on short trips (weekends or weeks) for several years before we plan to go on some more extensive travels.

Thanks!
We bought a new 2016 Thor 29.3 and after just one trip we realized we needed more room and more power. Everybody says you buy Motorhomes/RV's in 3 stages- Starter, intermediate and ultimate. We skipped number 2 and 45 days later purchased a new 2016 Winnebago Meridian 36M, diesel pusher. 360 HP, 800lbs of torque, 3 slide outs, 4 TVS, 2 monitors- just a great coach. It actually measures out to 38' with ladder, 10'.5" wide with mirrors and 12'.10" tall. We got just about all the options available, including a Direct TV Traveler dish on top- works great, easy to use. We are set for our first trip in 2 weeks from Texas to Washington State with a tow car we might pick up today- 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport.
