The photos are beautiful as are the trees. I live in the gulf coast area of Texas and have never seen Joshua Trees and really have never heard of them. It sort of looks like desert country - can you tell me about them?

Joshua Tree through the voyage

The Joshua Tree is a slow growing plant (1 inch a year) related to the lilly family. I understand in grows in only two areas of the world. The National monument was created to protect this plant from wholesale destruction to build homes and cities in the Deaert region.
Believe it or not the night before we had a rain/dust/wind storm and the body still reflected this well. I only use the waterless cleaning system and it works well for me. This reflection is mainly due to the Superior Paint job and the clearcoat finish applied in the Factory.
I really took the pictures to show the magnificant reflection of these gracious giants.

jwd53 `says . "I understand in grows in only two areas of the world."

to further his post, the US location of the tree is the Mojave Desert, basicly SE California, SW Arizona, and some of S. Nevada. I believe the Joshua Tree NM is in SE Cali...rgr...

To mention the other area where Joshua trees may be found; The Holy Land. Joshua tree parkway runs NW of Wickenburg towards Kingman.

Just outside of Desert Hot Springs by Palm Springs. I made that drive to Parker Arizona last fall. Good two lane road from the 10 to the river.
