Jack Stands for 2005 Adventurer

I am looking to get 2 sets of jack stands and when storing my RV, put it up on jack stands to take the pressure off the tires. It is on a workhouse 22,000 frame. I will also use them to level up the coach because my drive where I park it isn't level.

What size would I need to use? Would 6 ton jacks work? I want to get what is needed, and not skimp, but I don't want to over do it.

Anyone doing this now that could share information with me?

Not sure what size jack stand's you would need, but you might think about visiting with the folks at a truck/tire shop to see what they use for vehicles like school buses, dump trucks, tour buses, etc.

I would use these on a level surface. I wouldn't put it on any stands on a slanted surface.

Why not use the hydraulic jacks. I have mine down for 6 months here in FL.

Ditto. I would park it with the front toward the lower end, and just use the leveling jacks.

I will probably just use the jacks since I drive the coach every couple of weeks. However, I park it with the rear on the lower end, which is only lower by 7 - 8", because of the way the door works with my basement.

If there were a chance of one end coming off the ground when I used the leveling jacks, my diesel would need the rear wheels on the high end to ensure those wheels (with the parking brake) stay on the ground. If your parking brake locks your front wheels, then there is much less a problem with having the rears off the ground. You just don't want it moving because you have the braked wheels in the air!
