Call Winnie, Cat, as well as Freightliner to see about what has happened to the coach. On my 4th Winnie and they have all been good. The 05 Journey w/3 slides is a very very liveable unit and leaves little to be desired..The folks that responded know of what they speak. Good Luck
There's a 2005 Journey 36G on RV Trader (Ad Listing ID 96395995)

Gotta brag here... Our "older" 2006 34H just got 9.15MPG from Santa Clarita to Quartzsite! Why I don't know, but mileage doesn't lie. I thought something was fishy looking at the gauge when we got there. Need to find that fish!

Tail wind . Once, we got 11 mpg traveling from NM to Texas but I had a 40 mph tail wind . Glad I wasn't trying to head west that day.

I wanted to let everyone know that I got a PM from Frank and EJ. They brought home a 2005 Meridian 34H! Hopefully, they'll come back and tell us all about it!

Thanks to Tom (THutch) and all the others that provided input to help us make our decision. After looking at Class A's for the better part of a year we bought one. We considered Allegros, Monacos, Beavers, and Damons, but we kept on coming back to the Winnebago products. We almost bought a Journey, but we took a little too long making up our minds and it got away.

We had been sending emails back and forth with the owner of an Itasca for about a month, when we decided to drive from Jacksonville, Fl to Atlanta to check it out. We bought it.

It's a 2005 Itasca Meridian 34H with 47,000 miles. It's in very good shape and all the mechanicals check out ok. We're very happy with it and can't wait to get our stuff loaded onto it, make modifications to suit our tastes and hit the road. By the way Tom, it has the same paint scheme as yours

Yes, we bought a 2001 Journey 36gd with 42,000 miles on it. Now have put 3,000 miles on it without a single problem. Put 5 new batteries and 6 new tires on right out of the chute. This added about $3,000.0 to the purchase price, but that's the price of peace of mind. We love the coach and would do it again. Oh yes, even 2001 is not old to a 75 year old in love.
