Unhappy Help - Bypass valves on a 2011 sightseer 30a

Hi everyone

You helped me in the past so I have another question.

Where are the by pass valves on my coach? I have the owner's manual but in my opinion it's not very clear.

Id it under the sjnn, the water closet? I am clue;ess. The dealer I bought it from said it was in the closet of the bedroom which made sense because it's behind the water heater.

I looked but no panel to open;.

So if can direct me where it might be I would truly appreciate it

Thanks in advance

Rick

Check in the basement compartment where the hose comes into the RV. Might be there and the dealer could be wrong...not unusual.

If you're talking about the water heater bypass valve, it's usually on the back of the water heater. In my bedroom, I have a "false" front on the drawers below the bedroom closet. They just pop off and voila!

Check these diagrams out.

Life saver. Thanks for the reply. Found it.

So if the valve points up that's when water will flow into the water right?

Appreciate the information

Most of those valves 'point' in the direction of water flow when on.

I have a 2010 Sightseer 34c. There is only 1 valve on my system unlike most of the ones I have seen. Does not work very well imo. Should have used 2 valves. Water or anti-freeze will still get into the water heater when winterizing.
