Grease levelers?

I've got at 2018 Sunstar 29VE with Lippert (I think) Power Gears levelers. The rear jacks sometimes don't come up all the way when retracted. I've sprayed them with silicon and that helps them fully retract. They also have grease fittings. The book says to lube them with lithium grease every few years. In the old days of ball joints on cars, you would grease them until a little grease came out the rubber boot. My question is... what do you look for when greasing the power gears levelers? Will some come out of a seal? Or just give them a couple of squirts and call it good? Anyone had experience with doing this?
As always, thanks for any help.

Two pumps will do it. If you pump grease until it comes out ,you have opened the seal and that grease on the outside will atract dirt and will get into the opened seal. Just two pumps ,that's all that is needed.
